SKINNER "SCABBARDS" (Gun Cases) (FIREARMS AND ACCESSORIES ARE FOR ILLUSTRATION ONLY AND ARE NOT INCLUDED WITH SKINNER CASES)  I've been a hunter and a shooter all my life. Consequently, carrying, storing, and protecting my firearms has been a learning process, always looking for the case that filled my needs. Nothing seemed just "perfect" so I set out to design and produce our own line of cases built just for your "GO TO" guns that you use regularly. Like Skinner Sights, our cases are carefully crafted in a small shop at the foot of the Mission Mountain Range in Western Montana. I have worked to bring function and form together in a way that compliments your beautiful firearms while allowing adequate protection and ease of carry. HOW TO SIZE YOUR SKINNER CASE
Our cases are sized according to the INSIDE dimension of the case. Please choose a length that is equal to or longer than the LONGEST portion of your take down rifle/shotgun OR Overall Length of non take down guns.
Constructed of padded cordura and Nylon using buckles and webbing, our cases will not scratch or ding your guns. (like traditional zippers which also eventually break or wear out) These cases are lightweight, compact, and designed to last for years of use. THESE CASES WORK !!!
A note on COLORS... TWO GUN cases are Brown, Green, and Blue. FOLDING TAKE DOWN and FLAT TAKE DOWN are Brown, Green, or Black. PLEASE ACCEPT OUR APOLOGIES BUT WE CAN NOT GUARANTEE A CHOICE OF COLOR. Stocking every length and every style in all three colors is not practical at this time. We have these made locally in a small shop and often utilize the colors on hand. If you would like to make a "request" for a color we will see what is in stock. If it is not in stock, then we have what we have. Function will be the same. Otherwise, Folding and Flat Take Down cases will be Black, Brown, or Green as available. We do accept special color orders (Black, Brown, Blue, Green) for an additional 10%. Place the order online, send an email requesting the special color choice, and we will send an electronic invoice for the 10%. Shipping Cost for Cases Unfortunately shipping costs have risen quite a bit over the past couple years. Our cases are not "bulky" but they do take up some space when mailing. Our standard flat rate per $ amount shipping fee's do not always cover the actual costs of shipping. For orders of more than one case or for international orders an additional (actual) shipping fee will be charged. Invoices will be sent via Email and will be payable via Credit Card or PayPal. Finding a quality carrying case for these little rifles has been difficult. Most feature zippers that break or Velcro that wears out or are too bulky defeating the "mini" nature of the firearm.
We have built a scaled down version of our standard SCABBARD

AR PISTOL WITH BRACE Carry Case  These "Pistols" are amazingly easy to shoot, have great ergonomics, low recoil (almost none in pistol calibers) make a great travel/commute companion or "Bump in the Night" explorer. The only problem WAS... No one made a really sleek , minimal carrying case for them.  I designed this case to be slim, work with a standard mag in place and with a normal size/height Holographic/Reflex sight or the standard open sights in the upright position. Inside length is 26" The case features a two way zipper that can be opened by pulling either forward or back Sling attachment points for use of our MINIMAL SLING* (*SLING not included but available using the drop down ADD TO CART box below. Sling comes complete with QD Grovtec Swivels) I carry this bag over my shoulder so with the case horizontal, I can easily unzip the top (my preference is pulling the zipper front to back) and "LIFT" the pistol straight up, leaving the bag hanging at the ready for "reholstering"  There are two velcro secured magazine pouches (each will accomodate up to a 32 Round 9mm or 45 ACP mag) ALSO FEATURES: Wrap around carrying HANDLES and a POCKET for accessories. The "FLAT TAKEDOWN" Case  WOW... This one is SO SLIM AND TRIM its WONDERFUL !!! When you first look at this case you think... "How did they do that???" This case incorporates a inner padded barrier to separate the two halves of your take down gun. The two halves compliment each other in shape so when the flaps are closed this case is only slightly thicker than the gun itself. Like our "Flat Take down" case, this case has the MAGIC of a inner padded layer that keeps the two rifles separate and protected from each other. The Skinner "SCABBARD" Case  We live an Active lifestyle in Montana and I've always wanted a case without zippers that fully protects the firearm, holds it securely, padded, with carry handles that doubles as a Saddle Scabbard. That's not to much to ask right??? RIGHT! The Skinner "Scabbard" case was designed to fill all those needs. This case uses the same padded Cordura / Nylon construction of our other cases. With no zipper to break, you can secure the full flap with the adjustable quick release buckle and use the "Scabbard" straps to hang on your saddle, four wheeler, fasten into the boat, truck, etc. etc... Leather Basket Weave Sling  When hunting or carrying on outings, a good sling is almost essential. The goal is a comfortable way to carry the rifle hands free with minimal bulk and weight. Anything extra added to the sling will put yourself at a disadvantage when it comes to quick access or stable shooting. Imagine if you will, a half box of cartridges attached to the sling, swinging underneath the rifle while taking an offhand shot. That "pendulum" motion will add movement to the rifle and disturb accurate sight alignment. For this reason, in a lifetime spent in the outdoors, THIS sling design has become my "go to" in the field. It is comfortable, stylish, rugged and sufficient. We ship this sling with Steel Grovtec QD swivels included. Top grain Brown Oiled cowhide, embossed with a Basket Weave pattern. LEATHER SLING (With Swivels) $39 Biothane Super Sling  This may be the PERFECT sling for almost all rifle / carbine platforms Constructed of an "leather look alike" material used for animal tack that looks like leather, feels like leather, wears like iron, won't crack, fade, peel, stretch, absorb moisture or rot.  I designed these slings to be used without "keepers" so there isn't anything to slide or slip around. We use redundant solid brass Chicago screws on each end. (I had a chicago screw come loose while crossing a rock slide high in the Montana Rockies. It was not pretty watching my rifle clatter down through the rocks. This is a "minimal" Nylon Sling Includes Quick Detach Swivels. $22 As a semi professional photographer I learned real quick that my camera strap was important to the quality of the photo. A large, bulky strap would swing in the wind (or from body movement) and cause "blurry" photos while a "minimal" strap wouldn't effect the image. How much more so when choosing a rifle sling. A heavy sling (perhaps even designed to hold cartridges) dangling from your rifle can be a detriment to accurate shooting. If you are a hunter or a shooter, sling selection should be determined by function rather than form. A big, bulky, tooled leather cartridge carrying sling may look nice (and has its place for show and tell) but in the field, choose a sling that is just sufficient to carry your rifle comfortably. Use this strap as a "SLING" for your rifle/shotgun and then as a "CARRY STRAP" for your "SKINNER TAKE DOWN CASE"  THE "QUIVER"  $120

I recently came across these handsome, rugged, durable, cool, useful, authentic, "Quivers" for carrying and protecting your favorite Levergun, Shotgun, or ? What a great way to carry and protect your firearm in the field! Years ago a dear friend made a heavy leather quiver for my arrows. He used an authentic Howard Hill pattern and I LOVE IT! This GUN "QUIVER", MADE IN THE USA, from hand selected TOP GRAIN COWHIDE, captures the pleasure of that Archery Quiver and provides the same satisfaction and practicality for Rifles and Shotguns. We have put everything from a Rossi 92, Rio Grande, Circut Judge, Marlin 1894's, 1895's, 336's, 39's, Savage 24, Remington 870 Pump (With 18" barrel) Ruger #3, Henry Golden Boy, Big Boy, and a H001 in this case and it carries them all securely and comfortably. One size fits all, left and right handed. Scabbard is top notched for easy weapon access and quick draw. Adjustable sling with shoulder pad ensures proper fit and comfort for extended wear.
