HENRY HOMESTEADER
Model H027
Henry really hit it out of the park with this one.
Light, handy, accurate, reliable and easy to look at.
Skinner Sights has several sighting upgrades available for this very cool carbine.
Something to know: Henry used the same sight mounting hole pattern as their Large Frame Lever Action rifles. This is also the same hole pattern as used on the Marlin 1895 and 336 rifles. Consequently, ALL Skinner Receiver Sights and Scope Mounting Rails that fit the Large Frame Henry's and Large Frame Marlins will fit the Homesteader.
Adding a receiver sight will add more sight radius resulting in more inherant accuracy

Front Sight Information
When moving a sight to the top of the receiver it may require a taller front sight. How much taller is a variable. Since this is a new model we do not have enough information yet to make informed suggestions.
We suggest installing the new rear sight, shoot on paper at a known distance with the load you will be using, we can use the information to select exactly the front sight needed. This will also give you a chance to upgrade the front sight. We have Beads, Blades, and Fiber Optics available.
Shown here is the set up we are using on our test rifle.
Give us a call, we will take good care of you.
