Around the World, CZ Rifles have a reputation for durability, accuracy, quality, and affordability.  These rifles fit "Niches" in our shooting "battery" of firearms.  From the 452/455 "Scout", a youth sized .22 LR, to the "Classic" CZ Trainer, the 527 Brush Carbines (and standard rifles), to the Larger Frame 550's (Calibers up to and including 416 Rigby), CZ has given us options not available elsewhere.

SKINNER SIGHTS has been working on a line of CZ aperture sights for the discriminating shooter.

CZ has been making these beautiful small action rifles for many years.  They come in "fun chamberings" like 22 Hornet, 204 Ruger, 223 Remington, and my favorite 7.62 X 39.  These rifles have a delicate yet robust feel.  A feel that is diminished a bit by the addition of a scope.

For several years I have been working on prototypes that would mount using the factory receiver bridge scope ring dovetails. (I literally laid awake at night thinking about this.  Even dreamed about HOW was I going to mount a SLICK good looking BEAUTIFUL sight on these rifles?  Anything with wings, knobs, and clamps looked "CLUNKY" and frankly, life is too short to pack around a "Chunky" "Clunky" sight.  Also, anything that would slip on the dovetails and still have windage and elevation adjustment would get too tall and require nose bleed high front sights. (If a tall front sight was even available.  We do not make CZ front sights at this time)

Finally, I decided that anyone who owned a 527 or 550 was most likely discriminating enough to understand that something "SLEEK", "SIMPLE", "ATTRACTIVE", "RUGGED", and "FUNCTIONAL" may require some very simple rudimentary Gunsmithing. 

This sight requires two 6-48 holes drilled and tapped in the rear receiver bridge .500" (1/2") apart.

452/455 Models

THE RIMFIRE SIGHT WILL FIT MANY EUROPEAN RIFLES THAT UTILIZE 11mm RECEIVER GROOVES.

This sight will fit "SOME" air rifles and other nominally 11mm dovetails.  Dovetails are difficult to measure and "sharp edge to sharp edge" measurements do not represent "slope to slope" dimensions.  Manufactures specs vary also.   Consequently, answering questions like, "Will your CZ RIMFIRE sight fit my HW80 air rifle?" is difficult.  Best we can say is try it, if it doesn't fit perhaps it can be fit with a little careful work or we may have a larger size available.
