RIMFIRE GROOVE SIGHTS  For many years, firearm Manufactures have been providing grooves on top of Rimfire Rifle Receivers for mounting sights and other accessories. These are often referred to as 3/8" grooves, however those dimensions and receiver profiles vary some between makes and models of rifles. European spacing between these grooves is generally around 11mm. This mounting system lends itself to a slick, easy to install reciever mounted Aperture Sight location. The SKINNER RIMFIRE sight is designed to be as simple and durable as possible with minimal bulk. My goal was to produce a sight that does NOT have protrusions, fragile clamps, or require gun smithing to install. Consequently, our securing system requires close tolerences and is MAKE AND MODEL Specific. (Please do not email and ask, Will this fit a ?????? Our RIMFIRE SIGHT is adjustable for windage and elevation, the same as our other SKINNER SIGHTS and comes with the wrenches needed to install and adjust. THE MARLIN RIMFIRES  After Marlin introduced the Model 99M1, they soon followed with the Model 60 series and some Model 70's including the PAPOOSE. (shown here) Along with Rugers 10-22 these are Americas most numerous autoloading 22's. THE NORINCO JW-15  A clone of the BRUNO .22, the Norinco JW-15 is a very accurate rifle. Adding a SKINNER RIMFIRE sight gives a much more consistent sight picture resulting in more accurate hits downrange. THE MOSSBERG 802  The MOSSBERG 802 "PLINKSTER" is Brazilian made in the CBC factory. These rifles feature standard 3/8" "RIMFIRE" grooves on the receiver top. The SKINNER "RIMFIRE" sight fits the rounded receiver profile perfectly. Savage Model 93  The Savage 93 has quickly become one of the most available and affordable Bolt Action Repeating Rimfires on the market.
This sight is windage and elevation adjustable and ships with a .096" aperture installed. (Other size APERTURES are available on our Aperture page.) Mounting screws and wrenches are included.

Front sight height will vary depending on what version 93 you have, barrel diameter, dovetail depth, individual rifle characteristics, etc. We cannot predict what front sight you will need.
ON OUR TEST RIFLE (Youth Model) we used our .570" Fiber Optic Front sight. The factory front sight dovetail was .125" deep (normal is .100") so we filed a "flat" .025" deep on top of the barrel and touched up with Skinner Blue. The result was a perfect fit.
 BROWNING Semi Auto 22  The BROWNING SA 22 requires a slightly different sized dovetail than most other rifles. The dovetail is deeper by .025" We have built the LoPro II sight specifically for this Rifle. The Skinner "LoPro II" $50 (available only in BLUE) Designed for the Browning SA 22, This sight features a standard 3/8" dovetail which allows for installation on many rifles. The slightly deeper dovetail will work just fine with most standard rifles and allows more clearance than our BARREL MOUNT sight. This can be handy if the dovetail in the barrel is located close to a significant change in barrel diameter. Elevation and Windage are easily adjusted and lock with set screws to hold firmly in place. As with all SKINNER SIGHTS the LoPro II accepts any of our 5 APERTURES for the PERFECT sight picture.
